The entire diagram structure of Hands of Time
While approaching the world of book games, I discovered TwistTales and its software to create an audio-book game.
It sparked my interest, as I could use the writing, the music, the sound effects and the voice acting as narrative tools.

The story comes from a stub I had stored fo years, revamping it to make it coherent within the Szarkosaga's universe and taking inspiration from games such as Undertale or Baldur's Gate 3, both excellent instances of how a choice makes an impactful consequence.

It has been good training to dwell into the mechanics of variables, conditions and the outcomes You can create; once You grasp the core idea of that, You suddenly start to burst with new ideas, and it's challenging (but fun) to limit them, always aiming to stay coherent and captivating in what You tell.

The music part was fun in the process, as I tried to express the mood and the atmosphere behind certain scenes, from the tranquility of a dormitory scenario to the sinister aura emitted by a magical artefact. Same thing applies for sound effects I recorded, edited and mixed to give the player a surrounding experience, feeling what the novice feels.

I always had in mind how to start and how to conclude the first chapter; it took me one month of work to create the structure, write all the nodes, compose the music, record and mix the sound effects and my voice, and then to proceed with debugging, testing and, finally, publishing it.

I hope You will enjoy the experience.
Any feedback would be precious to me.
